General

• Driver has full forward visibility, and visibility to all participants on the vehicle.
• The vehicle is limited to 12 people while in motion.
• The two books create a lower step, allowing participants to easily get on and off, while creating a natural footrest to keep feet and legs inside the car and away from the undercarriage. Wider overhangs at the front and rear create solid footrests.

Mechanical

• The utility vehicle chassis was originally designed to carry heavy loads, with a strongly reinforced (steel diamondplate) shell. We have removed this steel weight, replacing it with our mutations, keeping within the overall design weight of the chassis.
• The base frame and lamp are built from welded steel to support the weight of the participants and mutations.
• The lampshade is designed to be as lightweight as possible, reducing load on the post.
• All corners and edges will be rounded / blunted to avoid injury.

Electrical

• The wiring harness is protected from participants by routing through the inside of the body and center of the lamp stand.
• Feed wiring is over-specified for expected currents.
• All wiring is fused at the distribution point, and the lighting system power rails are independently fused. The 110V lighting power feed is on an appropriate breaker.
• Both the vehicle and accessory power harness have emergency cut-outs in reach of the driver.
